Add a touch of citrus and spice to your festive season at a charity Christmas wreath making workshop
Get into the festive spirit with a morning of creativity and Christmas cheer at a ‘citrus and spice’ themed wreath-making workshop.
Winchester Hospice has joined forces with the creative team at Winchester Flower Club, to host the festive workshop which takes place on Saturday 29 November in the beautiful surroundings of The Hospital of St Cross.
Under the expert guidance of the Winchester Flower Club, participants will craft their own citrus and spice themed wreath, complete with dried orange slices, small bundles of cinnamon and vibrant red berries, and learn how to transform the design into an elegant table display featuring candles.
Tickets for the three hour workshop are priced at £45 per person, and includes all the materials needed, including flowers, foliage and mechanics. Guests will also enjoy homemade cakes, tea and coffee as they craft their stunning seasonal displays.
Stephanie Walker, fundraising assistant at Winchester Hospice, said: “We’re delighted to team up with the ladies from Winchester Flower Club again to bring our first Christmas wreath workshop to our community. This workshop is a wonderful opportunity to explore your creative side and enjoy the festive atmosphere, while also supporting the hospice and helping our teams care for local people.”
Spaces are limited and, as with previous events, the hospice expects demand to be high, so early booking is advised to avoid disappointment.
