Donate to Winchester Hospice
With your donations, Winchester Hospice can continue to provide palliative and specialist care to those with life-limiting illness.
There are many ways you can donate and support the specialist palliative and end of life services Winchester Hospice provides to outpatients, inpatients and those at home.
If you choose to donate through any of the means below, please do let us know by emailing us at winchester.hospice@hhft.nhs.uk, as we’d love to thank you personally.

Payroll giving
When you donate through payroll giving, your chosen donation amount is taken (tax-free) from your salary each payday.
As this is a tax-free donation, it doesn’t affect your pensionable pay, and also means we can claim Gift Aid.
If you would like to start donating through payroll giving, please contact winchester.hospice@hhft.nhs.uk or, complete this Payroll Giving Mandate and return it to your Payroll Benefits Manager.
Giving in memory
Donating in memory of your loved one is a wonderful way of remembering them and celebrating their life. By doing this, you will be helping our patients and their families to receive specialist care and support when they need it most.
You can do this by collecting donations at their funeral or setting up an online giving page. Your funeral director can help you with collecting donations or our fundraising team can support you. They are able to provide collection envelopes, gift aid declaration or tins if required. Please get in touch by emailing winchester.hospice@hhft.nhs.uk or calling 01962828353. If you’d like to fundraise for us by taking on a challenge or organising an event, please visit our fundraising page.
Writing a message of thanks on our allium wall
Our allium wall is a beautiful sculpture set just inside our entrance. We're creating an artwork of lasting memories and special messages, which you can be part of through creating a personalised allium wall petal.

Leaving a gift in your will
Leaving a legacy donation helps Winchester Hospice to continue to provide care to patients and families for years ahead. Winchester Hospice depends on your support, and by leaving a gift through your will, those who need care in the future will be able to receive it when and where they need it.
We understand your will is a private matter, but if you let us know that you've included us, you can help us better plan for the future and thank you personally for your kindness.

It doesn't cost you a thing - all you need to do is complete a Gift Aid declaration when donating to Winchester Hospice
How do I donate through GiftAid?
When you make a donation to Winchester Hospice, just complete a declaration form, which can be downloaded here. Once completed, please send to our fundraising team at the following address:

What if my circumstances change?
If any of the following occur, please notify our fundraising team by emailing winchester.hospice@hhft.nhs.uk :
You stop being a UK taxpayer
You do not fully understand that if you pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all your donations in that tax year it is your responsibility to pay any difference.
You wish to cancel your declaration, following a cancellation we will not claim Gift Aid on any donations you make on or after the date of cancellation.
You change your name or home address, or no longer pay sufficient tax on your income and/or capital gains.
Please note: If you pay Income Tax at a higher or additional rate and want to receive additional tax relief due to you, you must include all your Gift Aid donations on your Self-Assessment tax return or ask HM Revenue and Customs to adjust your tax code.
