Stories for Life

We have partnered with Stories for Life, a nationwide charity that enables individuals with life-limiting conditions to have the chance to tell their life stories, and have them professionally recorded on audio - for both their own enjoyment, and the therapeutic benefit of being able to ‘tell their story’.

To do this, Stories for Life train and support volunteers in care and community settings to record each life story with compassion and care, capturing memories, moments and voice.

Here at Winchester Hospice, our volunteer is Liz Hanvey. Liz supports individuals in our care who wish to take this opportunity through the recording process, and helps to capture their precious memories.

The Stories for Life charity, founded in 2017, record the memories for free, meaning high quality recordings are created for loved ones to listen to for generations to come.
