Winchester Hospice is part of Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and is led by the Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust’s palliative care team who see first hand how important it is to have a local hospice facility for the people of Winchester.

Our Ambassadors

Our ambassadors are volunteers who are an important part of our Winchester Hospice fundraising team. They attend local meetings and give presentations to help spread the word about the need to support Winchester Hospice, they also support local events and fundraising activities. All of our Winchester Hospice ambassadors will receive training to help support them in their roles, and can dedicate as much or as little time as they like to helping us reach the local community.

The Hampshire Hospitals’ palliative care team are doctors, nurses and healthcare assistants and much of their time is spent delivering care and treatment to patients. Therefore our ambassadors are a vital part of our team.
