Our fundraising team is dedicated to raising the vital funds needed to keep the hospice running and also supports members of our local community in their own fundraising activity. Specialist Care from People Who care
Winchester Hospice is part of Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and is led by the Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust’s palliative care team who see first hand how important it is to have a local hospice facility for the people of Winchester.
Our Trustees
The board of trustees oversees the charity and ensures it delivers its charitable outcomes for which it is established.
Trustees are appointed based on their experience, expertise and community involvement and for their commitment to and passion for the hospice’s work.
Our Ambassadors
Our ambassadors are volunteers who are an important part of our Winchester Hospice fundraising team. They attend local meetings and give presentations to help spread the word about the need to support Winchester Hospice, they also support local events and fundraising activities. All of our charity ambassadors receive training to help support them in their roles and can dedicate as much or as little time as they like to helping us reach the local community.
