Here at Winchester Hospice, we provide specialist palliative and end of life care to adults with a life limiting illness who live in the Winchester area.
Our dedicated team is here to support local people to live a life as full as possible in an environment that enhances well-being, privacy and care.
Your care with us is completely free of charge and to offer this, we rely on charitable donations from our generous community. We have a close working partnership with Hampshire Hospitals specialist palliative care service, community and hospital teams, as well as community care teams and GPs.

Support our Camino trekkers

On Saturday 12 September, our fabulous Camino trekkers, the wonderful Justine, Fiona, Sonia and Mary will be heading off on their fundraising challenge and we can’t wait to hear all about their experience. Here they are after completing a recent practice walk of 13 miles - a similar distance to the one they'll take on during the first day of the challenge next month.
Together, they've already raised an incredible £11,000 for the hospice with sponsorship still coming in. If you'd like to donate, and support them as they trek over 100km to fund hospice care for our patients, you can donate via the buttons below.
Join our Purple Night Walk and help celebrate five years of hospice care
Our poplar Purple Night Walk returns to Winchester on Saturday 19 September, and this year we’ll be starting and ending in the beautiful Abbey Gardens.
New for this year, there will also be a few surprises along the 7km route for our walkers to enjoy.
