Zoë Baker and Emma McCaffrey from FitState (outdoor exercise classes in Winchester) are organising a 12-hour fitness event on Friday 10 October (6pm to 6am) to raise money for the Winchester Hospice as a tribute to their friend and fitness group member Verity.
What to expect
Twelve 45-minute fitness classes with short breaks in between and organisers are asking for a minimum £10 donation per class, with options to donate more or get sponsored for taking on multiple classes.
The team has created a diverse program of classes and would love for you and your families to get involved in some way.
This 12-hour event is a chance to celebrate Verity's life, her commitment to fitness, and to raise crucial funds for Winchester Hospice.

About Verity
“We sadly lost Verity in February of this year to cancer. It is a very fitting tribute and way to honour Verity's life, love of community and keeping fit with The Night Shift. Also quite apt with Verity having been a nurse! As her family, we know she would have loved to be part of this not only for the fun, energy and community, but because of the very worthy cause it is supporting. The support and dedication provided by the hospice in Verity's last few months was quite exceptional. They need our support and what better way to do so.”
