Stride through historic Winchester and make a difference on the move

Winchester Hospice’s Purple Night Walk is back for its second year on Saturday 5 October and this year the 6km route will commence at The Pilgrims School and culminate at the west door of Winchester Cathedral where walkers will be presented with medals to celebrate their achievement.

What to expect

The event is a fun, vibrant 6km walk through the city centre and we hope people will be dressed in their finest purple ensembles to celebrate Winchester Hospice.

Why the Purple Night Walk matters

The event will be raising money for the only adult hospice in Winchester - a place where specialist staff provide palliative and end of life care for those with a life-limiting illness.

You can find out more about the care we offer to local people, here.

Prices

Tickets for the event cost £10 for adults (over 18) and £5 for children. As this is a fundraising event, we ask all participants to also raise a minimum of £25 in sponsorship for the hospice.

Places are limited to just 350 so, if you want to join us on the night, please purchase your tickets via the button below.

This event has kindly been sponsored by the team at Nony Kerr-Smiley
